Owner/Professional Groomer

Addie is the dog loving Owner/Grooming Master at Something to Bark About. She has a calm and loving energy that all dogs can feel as soon as she greets them. Her goal is for your dog to have an enjoyable experience while being groomed, so they can leave pleased with their adorable haircut.  She has five furry pups of her own. All the way from eight pounds up to sixty five pounds. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband and pups, mountain bike, go for hikes, and travel. You can always catch her with a dog by her side. Her heart and soul goes into her career by loving all four legged friends. She will treat each and every dog that comes into the spa as if it were her own and make sure it has a pawstive experience.

Professional Groomer

Sue is a long time groomer of 30 plus years. She is super passionate about her grooming and the time spent with the pups. When she isn't grooming you can catch her spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, ballroom dancing, hiking, or going out on the boat for a relaxing ride.

Professional Groomer

Lauren has been a professional groomer for almost 8 years. When she isn't grooming a cute pup she's usually in her craft room or playing video games. She grew up in the Carolinas and the Smokies have always been her favorite place to be.

K9 Cleanliness Specialist

A native of Hendersonville, Addison has been in the animal industry for five years; from shelters, grooming salons, doggy daycare, dog training, and pet sitting. She greets each dog like her new best friend, ready to work at their pace. She is gifted with the ability to read canine behavior and how to communicate with them. Partnered with her is Azula, a three-year-old German Shepard who is a source of light in her life. Azula accompanies her to work every day, earning tips in hugs and cuddles.

K9 Cleanliness Specialist

I’ve been super compassionate about animals ever since I could walk, nothing makes my heart more happy than being around them and giving them the care they need and deserve. I’ve been in the Asheville dog business since 2017 starting with shelters, moved on to doggie daycare, and ended up in grooming salons where I’ve found the passion to eventually become a groomer in the future. Outside of pampering furry friends in the salon, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and watching tv or reading .
